FAQ
Questions, answered straight
Where does my data live? On your computer, stored by your web browser — not on our servers, not in anyone’s cloud. We couldn’t look at your client list if we wanted to. The one-click backup creates a file you can store anywhere you trust. That could include iCloud, Google or Dropbox.
Do I need the internet? Only for the optional extras — the Google Calendar view and sending emails. The CRM itself works completely offline.
Mac or Windows? Both. It runs in your web browser (we recommend Chrome), so any reasonably modern computer works.
Is there a mobile version? No — and that’s deliberate. MyHubMyWay is the system for your desk, where quotes, invoices and your client list actually get managed. It works on any laptop, so it travels fine. If you live on your phone all day, a subscription CRM may suit you better — that’s my honest answer. Send all bookings to your Calendar. Simple!
What if my computer dies? Restore from your backup file on the new machine — two clicks, everything back. The included guide shows you the backup habit; the CRM itself reminds you if you haven’t backed up in a week.
Can I import my existing clients? Yes. Export a CSV from Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets or your old CRM and import it in one click. Column names don’t need to be perfect — the importer matches them flexibly and skips duplicates.
Is it really one payment? What’s the catch? One payment, AU$149, and it's all yours. No catch: it costs us nothing monthly to run because it runs on your computer. That’s the whole idea.
What support do I get? Real help from the person who built it — by email, on a fair-use basis. I’m a working photographer, not a call centre, but I won’t leave you stuck.
Can I use it for my kind of business? If you quote, book and invoice clients — yes. It’s in use by photographers, celebrants and fits tradies, tutors, stylists, consultants and most solo service businesses. Your copy comes branded for your business.
What about refunds? See our refund policy below — and Australian Consumer Law applies as always. If something’s genuinely wrong, email me and we’ll sort it.
